If you’re in California, BLM riots are just fine with state officials. But new regulations say that Christmas and Thanksgiving holidays – classic America is Good traditions — have bizarre limitations.
No more than three households can gather at a time. You are also required to collect the names and addresses of all attending. All get-togethers must be held outside and be less than two hours in length.
Citizens are allowed to use a bathroom but only one that is sanitized frequently. You also have to socially distance and all food has to be in single-serving dishes. And of course, you have to wear a mask at all times, except when eating.
Governor Gavin Newsom is openly supporting BLM riots while basically canceling Thanksgiving and Christmas. He has said he is committed to dismantling the “institutional racism” that’s driven activists to California streets:
“For those of you out there protesting, I want you to know that you matter,” Newsom said. “To those who want to express themselves… God bless you. Keep doing it. Your rage is real.”
San Francisco’s Mayor London Breed had this to say about the BLM rioting during the George Floyd protests: “I am angry. I am hurt. I am frustrated. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. I don’t want to see one more black man die at the hands of law enforcement,” she said to a cheering crowd.
Kamala Harris has actively defended the BLM riots: “Nothing that we have achieved that has been about progress, in particular around civil rights, has come without a fight, and so I always am going to interpret these protests as an essential component of evolution in our country — as an essential component or mark of a real democracy.”
Thanksgiving and Christmas are part of American culture – BLM riots are not. These two holidays are part of the concept that America is Good and they embrace family, religion, love, and patriotism. The Cancel America culture is taking advantage of COVID-19 to split us apart.
