One month ago, Tom Klingenstein endorsed President Donald Trump for President of the United States. The endorsement now has more than 1.6 million views; has been endorsed by Rush Limbaugh and Newt Gingrich; and was republished by Real Clear Politics. It inspired a second speech with 80,000 views; a Newsweek op-ed; major coverage across the conservative spectrum, and its core message – that America is Good, and that one of America’s parties is controlled by a movement that wants to Cancel America’s core principles – has been endorsed by Fox News host Laura Ingraham, House Freedom Caucus leader Rep. Jim Jordan, Fox News host Tammy Bruce, and many others. The transcript of the speech was retweeted by President Trump, and a petition to the President asking him to declare Election Day America is Good Day has nearly 1,500 signatures in just two weeks.
Yet the mainstream press hasn’t seen fit to report on this grassroots story. We know this, because we’ve kept the press informed of the growth of the America is Good movement. We’ve told them how our race-blind movement is growing because we don’t support the racist, totalitarian, violent Black Lives Matter agenda – we support equality of opportunity and individual liberty.
Now, imagine if Tom – a white man – was a transgendered black woman. Imagine this transgendered black woman gave the intellectual foundation for a Biden endorsement, and that this speech was endorsed by MSNBC’s Chris Hayes and Rachel Maddow on its way to getting 1.6 million views. Imagine that the message was in Newsweek and Real Clear Politics, was endorsed by a leader of the Congressional Black Caucus, and was retweeted by the Biden campaign. And, finally, imagine if the press was kept well-informed of the growth of this movement from a single speech to a major national movement?
We know what would happen – the press would salivate over it. It would be a major news story. But because Tom is a white man, he’s been almost completely ignored.
This is what Cancel America is all about. Tom Klingenstein and millions of America is Good supporters are just its latest victims. A decade ago, the victims were “racist” Tea Partiers who were allegedly violent and revolutionary – but when BLM radicals burn neighborhoods and threaten innocents, the press calls them “peaceful protests.”
Tomorrow may be the most important election since 1860. The press is determined to silence you. Don’t let them. Make your voice heard tomorrow and every day afterwards. America is Good; we must keep it that way. Arm yourself intellectually through Tom’s speeches; arm your friends and family through the same intellectual weaponry; and we will win.
Well said.
