With the 2020 election looming, the media giants have removed their veil of neutrality. Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg has given millions to left-wing election groups while censoring conservatives on his social media platform. Meanwhile, Twitter has continued to lock The New York Post over the Hunter Biden-China story…all while blue-checked Chinese apologist Lijian Zhao is still allowed to freely express his views. Twitter even went so far as to pin a post to the top of its home page, claiming that Biden “played no role in pressuring Ukraine officials into firing the prosecutor” instead of letting the truth come out.
Traditional press has likewise showed their true colors. National Public Radio’s “coverage” of the Hunter Biden episode said the Post story lacked credibility. They had no such compunction when The Atlantic used anonymous sources to claim that President Donald Trump denigrated dead servicemembers…even though the Biden story may implicate Joe Biden in a web of illegal behavior, and Trump was allegedly merely disrespectful and rude.
The New York Times is in on the game. It fired an editor for publishing an op-ed by Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) which advocated for deploying the military to US cities in order to help control violent protests. More recently, a Chinese apologist was published – with no cancel culture backlash – who criticized the U.S. for our COVID-19 response.
Since our grassroots movement began just weeks ago, we’ve followed our founders’ simple message that America is Good. It’s clear that the media doesn’t agree, or they’d not be kowtowing to China’s communism and BLM’s racist Marxism, or enabling potential criminal activity by the Bidens. As our founder Tom Klingenstein said:
It’s time for the media to acknowledge that America is a good nation. They don’t have to like Trump or prefer him over Joe Biden. They just have to tell the truth. And so, I issue this challenge to the press: Will you be objective and acknowledge that America is a great nation and that the world is better off because of it? Or will you continue lying to the American people?
