The most destructive racism in America doesn’t come from white supremacists or neo-Nazis, says AmericaIsGood.us founder Tom Klingenstein. Instead, it comes from Black Lives Matter.
“The Black Lives Matter movement is profoundly racist,” said Klingenstein, whose speeches supporting America’s founding ideals of individual liberty and equality of opportunity launched a grassroots movement. “The Black Lives Matter movement insists that America is a collection of racial (and other) identity groups. This is racist and will inevitably result in violence and a breakdown of society itself.
They assume that a person is defined in meaningful ways by the color of his or her skin. They say only whites can be racist. These, too, are profoundly racist ideas.”
Klingenstein said that BLM and its supporters have misunderstood the ideals of America’s greatest leaders, including Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King. “If we actually want to tackle the problems associated with race, then we should follow MLK and Lincoln, who understood that we have to keep our eye on our ultimate goal, a colorblind society where race is incidental, not core to our identities and relations.”
By focusing on race above all else, Klingenstein said, BLM and the Democratic Party have turned America back to its days of segregation and judgment based upon skin color. “The most destructive racism in today’s media, education, and politics doesn’t come from white supremacists or neo-Nazis, who have little power and even less influence,” he explained. “It comes from the Black Lives Matter movement, which now controls the Democratic establishment. And because the BLM movement controls Joe Biden and the Democratic Party, they, too, are racist. And they are calling for the overthrow of the American way of life.”
“The last few months have been the culmination of decades of lies,” said Klingenstein. “Black Lives Matter and its Democratic Party controllers have told Americans that we are racists in a racist country – that our country is inherently evil. It is these unsupported and unchallenged racist ideas that give BLM protesters and rioters license to burn down black neighborhoods and threaten black lives. And it is these ideas that keep many blacks in poverty and in jail.”
“But the reality is just the opposite: America is just; it is the BLM movement that is racist,” concluded Klingenstein. “Unfortunately, most leaders on the Right are not challenging BLM racism. I get it. If you do you yourself will be denounced as a racist. But if we do not speak up, we will allow their racist ideology to further insinuate itself into the American way of life. If it does, our country will fail. We must remind the American people that the American principle of justice—and only this principle—is the way forward.”
