“Trump is the perfect man for these times,” says Tom Klingenstein
NEW YORK, NY—Over one million Americans – from Rush Limbaugh listeners to readers of Real Clear Politics to Twitter blue checks – have watched a private citizen’s passionate, pro-Trump, pro-America speech, causing it to go viral as the 2020 election nears.
On October 13, Rush Limbaugh told his listeners to set aside 17 minutes to watch businessman and playwright Tom Klingenstein describe President Donald Trump as “the perfect man for these times.” In the speech, Klingenstein contrasted Trump as the candidate “who believes America is good” against Joe Biden, “who is controlled by a movement that thinks America is bad.” First posted by American Greatness, the speech has now been published by Real Clear Politics; Tweeted by hundreds of people, including Fox News contributor Liz Peek, Islam expert Ayaan Hirsi Ali, and New Criterion editor Roger Kimball; and covered by The Stream, Townhall, Newsmax, and other media outlets.
“The 2020 election is not about personality or policy,” said Klingenstein after the speech went viral. “It’s about the future of America: Whether voters will choose to preserve the American way of life or allow the BLM-led Democrats to cancel it. Americans have to understand that we are in the midst of a real revolution. The Democrats’ radical wing has now taken over the entire party, including the ever malleable, go-along Joe Biden. Biden is an unwitting Trojan Horse who, if elected, will smuggle the BLM wing into the White House.”
Klingenstein, who describes himself as an intellectual who generally avoids publicity, said it was important to speak directly to the American people. “I spend most of my time in my time in my library writing plays and reading, but given the Republicans’ inadequate defense of America, I needed to explain why this election is so important and why Trump is the perfect man for these times. America is not racist; BLM is racist. Republicans need to speak these truths and stand up for America.”
“On November 3, voters will decide who wins the White House by voting for a man who believes America is systemically racist and should be cancelled, or a man who believes that America is good,” concluded Klingenstein. “Trump isn’t perfect, and he’s not the man I’d vote for in most elections. But in these revolutionary times, he is the perfect man for the job.”
